In 2020 I led a small team of designers and engineers to build a solution that enhances ISO drawings and Bills of Material (BOM) creation processes for pipe spool replacement and structural design. Point cloud data is automatically generated into editable 3D CAD piping and structural drawings that can be tweaked using pre-build pipe and structural specifications. The solution further sped up the design process by automatically generating isometric and BOM before passing them over for fabrication.
